Common questions
How do projects usually start?
With a short, fixed-price discovery phase, typically two to three weeks. You get a written problem statement, an architecture outline and a costed build plan, and those documents are yours regardless of what you do next.
Do you work with startups?
Yes, though we are honest about fit. If you need a throwaway prototype to show an investor next week, there are faster and cheaper options than us. If you need something that will still stand up after the raise, that is our work.
Can you work with our existing engineering team?
Frequently. We embed with in-house teams, work in your repository and follow your conventions. Several engagements are explicitly about raising a team's capability rather than delivering a system.
Who owns the code?
You do. All source, infrastructure definitions and documentation transfer to you. We do not hold anything back as leverage.
What does it cost?
Discovery is fixed price and quoted up front. Build phases are quoted as ranges per phase once discovery has established scope. We do not quote a fixed price for undefined work, because that price is always wrong.
